| Finisher
- Light Elegance |
Description and Recommended Uses:
Finisher is a UV cured topcoat that produces a high shine. It must be put on a buffed, cleansed nail. It can be applied over gels, acrylic, fiberglass wraps, natural nails or dry polish. The shine can last up to four weeks without yellowing! The Finisher is applied very thinly on the nail like polish.
Recommended uses of Finisher:
· Top coat over gels for a high gloss
· Top coat over acrylics or fiberglass wraps
· Top coat over dry polish to protect polish for weeks
· Natural nail manicure
Application:
The Finisher is applied to a nail that is acceptable to the client and the technician (that could also be a natural nail). The nail must be free of oils or dust. Cleanse nail after the hand has been removed from the light. Shape the nail by file and buffer block to the desired shape -- thickness included. Make sure that you don't touch the surface of the nail because the oils from your fingers will effect the quality of the Finisher. Cleanse the nail completely again. Apply a thin coat of Finisher to the surface of the nail, and make sure that the complete nail is coated (next to the cuticle and to the edges). Cure the Finisher in the light. Remove the hand from the light and cleanse.
Hints & Trouble Shooting:
Finisher will pit or look "blotchy" is the surface of the nail is not buffed and cleansed prior to the application of the Finisher. Finisher can be applied to acrylic nails, but it must be mentioned that the application of the use of Cleanser on the acrylic after roughing or buffing the surface of the acrylic will lead to adhesion failure. Cleanse the acrylic prior to buffing the surface, buff the nail then dust the nail with a clean cleansing pad. Apply Finisher to the nail and cure. Finisher will lift from the free-edge if the nail is not roughed-up properly. Use a 180-grit or 240-grit file or white buffing block to prepare the nail sufficiently for the Finisher. Not removing the pterigyum from the nail plate, not sufficiently removing the shine from the nail plate, or touching the cuticle or sidewalk with the product causes lifting of the Finisher near the cuticle.
Storage:
Avoid exposure to all UV light sources (including but not limited to sunlight, UV light from curing lamps and "full spectrum lamps" such as Ott lights), inert gases and flame.
