| Fiber
- Light Elegance |
Description and Recommended Uses:
Fiber is remarkable! We reformulated the Fiber to have more resistance to cracking than our other products. The Fiber is self-leveling so your brush strokes disappear while not being runny! Fiber is used to re-enforce the stress area, build an arch and is great for Full-sets and Fills. Fiber has no shine and will require filing and buffing before the nail is beautiful. Fiber will not yellow and has a very strong hold.
Recommended uses for Fiber:
· Full-sets or fills
· Repairs
· Re-enforce stress areas
· Great for nail biters, nail pickers, and clients who are "hard on their nails"
Application:
Cleanse, file and prep the natural nail and existing product, making sure to remove all of the shine. Cleanse the nail again. Apply a rice kernel size amount of Fiber to the nail. Push Fiber into the areas that need the added strength. Avoid having the Fiber touch the sidewalls or cuticle of the nail. If this happens, remove product from these areas prior to curing process. When satisfied with the way the nails look, place hand in the light and cure.
When curing process is complete, cleanse the nails to remove the remaining sticky residue. The nail now should be shaped with a 180-grit file. After filing and shaping, apply the next product such as Finisher, Reconstructor or 1-Step and cure in the light. After curing, cleanse, and your nails should be glossy and beautiful.
Hints & Trouble Shooting:
Fiber will lift from the free-edge if the nail is not roughed-up properly. Use a 100 to 180 grit file to prepare the nail sufficiently for the Fiber. Not removing the pterigyum from the nail plate, not sufficiently removing the shine from the nail plate, or touching the cuticle or sidewall with the product causes lifting of the Fiber near the cuticle.
Storage:
Avoid exposure to all UV light sources (including but not limited to sunlight, UV light from curing lamps and "full spectrum lamps" such as Ott lights), inert gases and flame.
