| Bonder
- Light Elegance |
Description and Recommended Uses:
All of our products are formulated to adhere to the natural nail as well as to "product". The Bonder is used in cases when nothing else seems to work. Bonder will increase the adhesion to the nail plate for all of our products. Bonder is not used over a "glue-on" tip.
Application:
Clean nail surface by cleansing the nail with Light Elegance Cleanser, then buffing or filing the surface of the nail, dusting and then cleansing the nail again to remove residual oils and dust. Take a small amount of the Bonder on the end of a brush and apply to the surface of the nail. Avoid placing the Bonder over a "glue-on" tip (if there is one), just apply the Bonder to the leading edge of the tip to seal the edge. Some tips do not allow the Bonder to stick, but the Reconstructor, Builder or French Tip will adhere to the Glue-on Tip. If Bonder is applied to the cuticle, remove this Bonder with an orangewood stick. The appearance of the Bonder should be rough or grainy. If it is not, it is too thick and remove some of the Bonder with the brush. Cure the nails in the light.
Hints & Trouble Shooting:
Bonder will lift from the free-edge if the nail is not roughed-up properly. Use a 100 to 180 grit file to prepare the nail sufficiently for the Bonder. Not removing the pterigyum from the nail plate, not sufficiently removing the shine from the nail plate, or touching the cuticle or sidewall with the product causes lifting of the Bonder near the cuticle.
Storage:
Avoid exposure to all UV light sources (including but not limited to sunlight, UV light from curing lamps, and "full spectrum lamps" such as Ott lights), inert gases and flame.
