Beauty Web started out
as a hobby of mine in 1999 to help me learn web development
techniques.
I took the two things I love, (#1) the beauty
industry and (#2) computers and attempted to marry them.
I think the potential
of the internet to distribute information and educate beauty
industry members and the consumers that we serve is just beginning and I am excited for the
future.
It is a work in
progress. I have
worked in many segments of our industry, salon employee, salon
owner (2), distributor owner, distributor manager, manufacturer
educator and industry consultant, now webmaster... I also write
articles for our trade magazines and have just started writing for
a beauty trade magazine in South Africa. |
